Een villadorp tegen de berg met weids uitzicht
Het Ambelia Village is officieel een 3 sterren hotel in Noord Cyprus, maar door de ruime villa's met balkon voelt het meer als een exclusief villadorp.
Grote bedden, efficiënte airco en een balkon met het beste uitzicht zijn een vanzelfsprekendheid.
Zelfs het zwembad heeft een view, zowel naar de kust beneden als naar de achterliggende bergen. Een ligstoel, een goed boek en een drankje. Dit is vakantie.
Het Ambelia staat bekent om haar omgang met de vele honden en katten. Ze krijgen te eten, op afstand van het restaurant, en ze krijgen zo nodig medische verzorging.
In het restaurant dineren niet alleen de hotel gasten, maar ook de lokale bevolking heeft haar weg naar deze fantastische keuken gevonden die gebruik maakt van verse producten van eigen bodem en natuurlijk de zeeverse vis.
Houd er rekening mee dat vanwege de terrasvormige indeling van Ambelia Village het terrein minder geschikt is voor mensen die moeite hebben met trappen.
Snelle en eenvoudige transfers van Ercan International Airport naar Ambelia Village duren slechts 45 minuten. Met een vlucht vanaf Amsterdam naar Noord Cyprus kunt u dus in minder dan een uur van het vliegtuig in het zwembad stappen.

"Relaxing and superb views"
Nice quiet hotel found via the gonorthcyprus website. Gary in sales got us a good deal at Ambelia Village and when we arrived we were welcomed by the receptionist and felt at home. We had a light, pleasant room that was spacious and faced the sea. Fantastic views. There's a fridge and coffee making facilities if you want to pick up milk, coffee etc. We stayed on a B and B basis and enjoyed the breakfast each...
morning, can't say more about the other meals because we ate out the rest of the time. You can walk into Bellapais from the hotel - we did and had a lovely meal out, it's a bit of a climb back up to the hotel though! Very nice relaxing stay.

"A well-kept secret"
My boyfriend and I booked a week at Ambelia Village through gonorthcyprus and have just returned after a lovely stay. It's quite a small place and very peaceful, not luxurious but cosy and homely feeling. The staff were all so nice, literally every one of them, they made us feel welcome and well attended to. We had a light, airy room that was very clean with wonderful views over Kyrenia from the balcony....
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty every day and we had a couple of traditional Cypriot lunches/dinners here too, which were all well cooked and delicious. You can get to the nearest beach in about 15 minutes by car and can walk to and from the village, just be aware that it is uphill on the return journey! Great value for money, we would like to return.

My husband booked us a surprise getaway to Ambelia Village in Cyprus, I had no idea about it until we were on our way to the airport! We had a beautiful, clean and spacious villa with a superb view of the city and of the coastline, just glorious. The staff we found...
to be very pleasant and helpful for the entirety of our stay. There's a lovely beach about 15 minutes away by car and it's definitely worth exploring the area to visit the charming ruined abbey. The food was fantastic too, beautifully cooked and delicious. We really did have a ball! I hope I get another surprise like this again soon!
