Steam baths have been part of daily life in Cyprus since Roman times, with the Ottomans taking the steam room ritual to its ultimate perfection. Now it’s your turn to discover the delights of this gentle all-body cleansing ritual for yourself with the help of your expert spa team.

Your Turkish bath starts at a five star hotel spa, combining excellent service and facilities with an authentic Turkish steam bath experience. Everything you need is provided, including clean, fluffy towels. Please bring your own swimsuit if you prefer this to the traditional cloth or towel wrap provided for modesty. Also, don’t wear makeup or sunscreen - it’ll just get washed off!

Change in the spa changing rooms before stepping into the hamam itself, a gently heated room lined with shining marble tiles. Sit and relax as the warm atmosphere gently soothes tired muscles and opens up your skin pores.

Once you’re warmed up, your expert attendant will invite you to lie on the heated marble centre platform known as the göbektaşı (tummy stone). Time for your wash, massage and exfoliating body scrub - probably the most amazing 15 minutes your skin will ever experience!

After your scrub, you’ll be washed clean with relaxing warm water, and can sit in the warmth of the hamam for a little longer and even take a nap. Bliss!

You are welcome to stay on and enjoy the spa facilities and treatments available (at your own expense). Or our team will return you to your hotel in Kyrenia, Nicosia or Famagusta refreshed, relaxed and with your skin cleansed and glowing, North Cyprus style!

• Turkish bath pick up time is flexible. It can be any time through the day.
• Advised pick up time is between 09:00 am and 01:00 pm.
• You will be picked up from your hotel lobby.
• Make sure to be at your hotel's lobby 10 minutes before your pick up time.
• For a few hotels in Kyrenia, we will pick you up from the nearby main road.
• If you are not staying in a hotel, then you must come to the lobby of one of the hotels.
